In Bethlehem, there was a holy smackdown when Greek Orthodox and Armenian priests came to fisticuffs over how to clean Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity.
The brawl apparently began when Greek Orthodox priests set up ladders to clean the walls and ceilings of their part of the church after the Christmas Day celebrations.
Armenian priests claimed that the ladders encroached on their portion of the church, which led the two sects to exchange angry words which quickly turned to blows.
Witnesses said that the robed and bearded priests scuffled for more than an hour using fists, brooms and iron rods as weapons.
An ancient place of worship, it is believed Jesus Christ was born there. It is shared by various Christian sects. Five priests and two policemen were injured during the melee.

Drunken Christmas Brawl at Antarctic Base Camp

The North Pole may be a jolly place on Christmas Day, but in the South Pole, an arse-kicking holiday brawl required two men to be evacuated from the frozen wasteland for medical treatment.
Two men, one with a suspected broken jaw, have been airlifted from the Antarctic’s most remote research facility after an incident described as a “drunken Christmas punch-up”.
The brawl happened at the US-operated Amundsen-Scott South Pole station, located at the heart of the frozen continent. The station, where staff carry out a range of scientific investigations from astrophysics to seismology, is currently being rebuilt in a £76m project.
After reports of the fight reached staff at McMurdo station, the headquarters of the US Antarctic Programme, which is located on Ross Island, a US Air Force Hercules was sent to pick up the injured man and the other worker.
The staff had been expecting the day off for Christmas but they had to return to work to deal with the medical evacuation.

Star Magazine claims that Jamie-Lynn Spears’ family are paying Casey Aldridge, 18, to claim he is the father.
The family may be trying to hide the identity of the real father to avoid a further scandal that he is an older man. It is assumed that the mystery man worked on Jamie-Lynn’s television show, Zoey 101.
The reports come days after Jamie-Lynn confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with student Aldridge’s baby during an interview with OK! magazine. According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s website, a Star [Magazine] source is reported as saying, “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified. The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her.”
We still blame the parents.
