The NYC street performer known as “The Naked Cowboy” is suing Mars, Inc. for millions of dollars because an M&M candy on a Times Square billboard sports the same look he does – cowboy hat, cowboy boots and white briefs.

For nearly a decade, Robert Burck has been a fixture in Times Square, where he strums a guitar on a street corner while dressed in his skimpy signature costume.

In a lawsuit filed this week in Manhattan federal court, Burck said that two oversized Times Square billboards that promote M&Ms used his look without compensating him.

The billboards depict a blue M&M with a white guitar overlooking views of New York City, including the Statue of Liberty. He is suing the candy maker and the ad agency that created the ad, for trademark infringement.

Burck had trademarked his signature look and has made several television and movie appearances in costume, including American Idol.

Tyra “Kiss My Fat Ass” Banks is threatening to sue a cancer patient who was invited on the show.

Thirty-nine year old Jodi Hughes was ecstatic when she discovered that her children, seventeen year old Jordan and ten year old Nick, had secretly submitted her name for a “Holiday Girl Party!” makeover on an episode of the Tyra Banks Show after she’d been diagnosed with Stage Four cervical cancer and lupus. Jodi has been left begging for an apology after what she claims was humiliation and mistreatment at the hands of Tyra.

The details:

• The two boys, one of them legally blind, were left sitting on a curb outside the studio lot for hours with no food, no phone, and no money while their mother was getting her makeover.
• The makeover was simply a new dress and a hair weave. The hair weave turned into a disaster and the mother had to have it surgically removed in the emergency room because her scalp became infected.
• The Tyra Banks Show threatened litigation because the cancer survivor violated a gag-order that prevents her from discussing the show for a year.

TMZ reported that he ambushed Spears at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for his special brand of counseling, namely appearing on his nationally-syndicated show. As McGraw claimed that he was trying to help Spears, he is now calling off the show for the same reason.

Entertainment Tonight and The Insider were in overdrive during the weekend issuing press releases about McGraw’s interference intervention for Spears.

Previously, Dr. Phil “helped” his buddy Pat O’Brien when several sexually explicit drunken voice-mail messages were made public. Pat O’Brien is the host of the syndicated celebrity gossip show, The Insider.

Star Magazine reported that Cruise spent nearly $1 million dollars on fuel for his four private planes in 2007.

“Tom is really into money,” a source revealed. “He has no problem spending it. It makes him feel powerful. He loves to brag about his Porsches, his homes, his planes and his motorcycles.”

With an estimated net worth topping $250 million, the tool Tom can afford to ignore the environment.

Star Magazine claims that Jamie-Lynn Spears’ family are paying Casey Aldridge, 18, to claim he is the father.

The family may be trying to hide the identity of the real father to avoid a further scandal that he is an older man. It is assumed that the mystery man worked on Jamie-Lynn’s television show, Zoey 101.

The reports come days after Jamie-Lynn confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with student Aldridge’s baby during an interview with OK! magazine. According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s website, a Star [Magazine] source is reported as saying, “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified. The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her.”

We still blame the parents.

Nickelodeon may be producing a special on sex after learning the star of the show Zoey 101, Jamie-Lynn Spears, is pregnant at 16.

Jamie-Lynn (the younger sister of virtuous Britney Spears) stunned her fans when she confirmed that she was three months pregnant. Nickelodeon has been politely supportive of their star, but they are facing a dilemma whether to keep running the show until its conclusion. The special will focus on safe sex and abstinence.

Nickelodeon should instead make a special on the dangers of absent parenting.  We blame her parents for this mess.
