Enzyte Lies

If you’ve been curious about natural male enhancement, think again. Bob, the perennially smiling character from the Enzyte commercials has been proven to be dickless in federal court.
James Teegarden Jr., the former vice president of operations at Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, explained Tuesday in U.S. District Court how he and others at the company made up much of the content that appeared in Enzyte ads.
He said employees of the Forest Park company created fictitious doctors to endorse the pills, fabricated a customer satisfaction survey and made up numbers to back up claims about Enzyte’s effectiveness.
The company and its founder, Steve Warshak, are accused of defrauding thousands of customers. Warshak is facing 20 years in prison and millions of dollars in penalties if he is convicted.
Teegarden pled guilty and is cooperating with prosecutors. According to Teegarden, the scheme was to keep charging customers credit cards for as long as possible. Enzyte would be shipped every month and customers would have a hard time getting their money back when they complained.
In some cases, customers were actually required to produce a notarized statement from a doctor certifying Enzyte did not work in order to get a refund.
